Tristan was most recently seen starring as Dwayne Settles in Katori Hall’s Pulitzer Prize-winning “The Hot Wing King” at Cygnet Theatre in San Diego. He’s so excited and grateful to bring “Come From Away” to Arrow Rock after proudly working on the Broadway national tour back in 2021. Regional: “A Strange Loop” (A.C.T. San Francisco & Center Theatre Group), “Prelude to a Kiss: the Musical” (South Coast Repertory), “RENT: In Concert” (Segerstrom Center for the Arts). Off-Broadway: “Cruel Intentions: the 90s Musical,” “Spamilton: An American Parody,” “Urinetown the Musical.” A bicoastal writer/director/actor, Tristan J was highlighted in YesBroadway’s “40 Under 40” alongside Oscar-winner Ariana Debose and Tony-winners Adrienne Warren and Alex Newell. He is dedicated to telling stories at the intersection of Blackness and queerness with his production company @LicoriceEclipse. Currently seeking talent & literary representation.
