The inspiring hit musical that reminds us when things are at their worst, people can be at their best

In the aftermath of 9/11, flights into New York City were rerouted, and 7,000 airline passengers were suddenly stranded in the small Canadian town of Gander. The population nearly doubled, but residents welcomed these unexpected visitors with open arms, providing food, shelter, and comfort. With its folk and country influenced pop score, Come From Away tells the funny and gripping true story of strangers who became friends and offered each other hope and humanity during some of history’s darkest days. Expect a few tears…and laughter through those tears…during this triumphant tale that the New York Times called a “big bear hug of a musical.”
