Omigod you guys! Elle Woods is going to Harvard!

When the fashion-forward and frivolous Elle Woods gets dumped by her boyfriend, she’s determined to get him back – even if it means leaving her California sorority sisters behind and enrolling in Harvard Law School. Elle’s plucky personality doesn’t fit into this stuffy new world, but thanks to the support of new friends (and her trusty dog, Bruiser), Elle discovers her strengths and her smarts and flips a few negative first impressions on their heads. At its fluffy, pink core, this effervescent musical based on the beloved movie reminds us that you can achieve your dreams through hard work, persistence, and staying true to yourself.

Grumpy Old Men: The Musical

Book by Dan Remmes
Music by Neil Berg
Lyrics by Nick Meglin
Adapted from the Warner Bros. motion picture written by Mark Steven Johnson
Additional orchestrations by Phil Reno

Fasten your seat belts. It’s going to be a grumpy ride!

Two curmudgeonly neighbors have been feuding for 50 years. Their rivalry intensifies when they both fall for a charming and eccentric woman who moves in across the street. As these two cantankerous competitors fire off one-liners and hilarious songs in equal measure, they might just find a resolution to their long-standing differences. Based on the classic 1993 Warner Brothers film starring Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau, and Ann-Margret, this hilarious, engaging, and unexpectedly heartwarming stage adaptation captures these lovably crotchety characters through twinkling humor, great songs, and the affectionate depiction of a small Midwestern town and its quirky residents.

Rounding Third

By Richard Dresser

A homerun of a comedy!

Don is a “win at all costs” little league coach, who believes victory is the most important thing – in baseball and in life. Michael is his somewhat nerdy assistant coach, who thinks the kids are already winners just for showing up. Don’s kid is the star pitcher of the team. Michael’s kid can barely remember to keep his shoelaces tied. Their clashing beliefs about fatherhood and about baseball lead to battles, on and off the field. But as this funny, acerbic, and touching play unfolds, they discover that their shared love of the game is more important than whether or not they’re on the same page of the playbook.

Come From Away

Book, Music, and Lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein
Original Broadway Production Produced by Junkyard Dog Productions
Orchestrations by August Eriksmoen
Arrangements by Ian Eisendrath

The inspiring hit musical that reminds us when things are at their worst, people can be at their best.

In the aftermath of 9/11, flights into New York City were rerouted, and 7,000 airline passengers were suddenly stranded in the small Canadian town of Gander. The population nearly doubled, but residents welcomed these unexpected visitors with open arms, providing food, shelter, and comfort. With its folk and country influenced pop score, Come From Away tells the funny and gripping true story of strangers who became friends and offered each other hope and humanity during some of history’s darkest days. Expect a few tears…and laughter through those tears…during this triumphant tale that the New York Times called a “big bear hug of a musical.”

Come From Away was originally co-produced in 2015 by La Jolla Playhouse and Seattle Repertory Theater and presented in 2016 by Ford’s Theatre.
Come From Away (NAMT Festival 2013) was originally developed at the Canadian Music Theatre Project, Michael Rubinoff Producer, Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, and was further developed at Goodspeed Musicals’ Festival of New Artists, in East Haddam, Connecticut.
The Canada Council for the Arts, The Ontario Arts Council, and The Fifth Avenue Theatre, Seattle, Washington, also provided development support.
COME FROM AWAY is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).
All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com

Arsenic and Old Lace

By Joseph Kesselring
Original Broadway Production by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse

What do you do when your eccentric family has actual skeletons in the closet?

Mortimer Brewster may be the only sane member of his family. One brother thinks he’s Teddy Roosevelt and digs the Panama Canal in the cellar. His other brother keeps undergoing ghastly plastic surgeries to hide from the police. And his adorably sweet spinster aunts take in lonely boarders…and dispose of them with their special elderberry wine. To make matters worse, Mortimer has fallen in love with Elaine, the minister’s daughter from next door, and a houseful of murderous relatives probably won’t help the relationship. This beloved screwball comedy set in 1940s Brooklyn will leave you laughing — and saying no to the elderberry wine!

“Arsenic and Old Lace” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com
