A homerun of a comedy!
Don is a “win at all costs” little league coach, who believes victory is the most important thing – in baseball and in life. Michael is his somewhat nerdy assistant coach, who thinks the kids are already winners just for showing up. Don’s kid is the star pitcher of the team. Michael’s kid can barely remember to keep his shoelaces tied. Their clashing beliefs about fatherhood and about baseball lead to battles, on and off the field. But as this funny, acerbic, and touching play unfolds, they discover that their shared love of the game is more important than whether or not they’re on the same page of the playbook.
