October 25 – November 29

A six-week acting course focused on Scene Study and culminating in a presentation for Arrow Rock locals, family and friends! This is an adult class. Must be 17 up to ANY AGE to attend. Previous acting experience is not required. Space is limited! Cost: $275 per semester. This will be a recurring class throughout the year. Come and be a part of this exciting event!

Classes take place weekly on Sundays from 2-3:30 pm beginning on October 25 and running through November 29, at Brown’s Chapel, 710 High Street in Arrow Rock.

You’ll receive an email within a few days of registration with useful information that will help you prepare for the class.

The Teacher

Robyne Parrish is an actor, director, educator, and the Artistic Director of the Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre.
A professional actor for more than three decades, she has worked on stages in New York and across the country.
Her New York career included performing in the acclaimed immersive production Sleep No More.
As an actor, she has tackled roles ranging from contemporary plays to classic American musicals. She has appeared on Law and Order, Gossip Girl and in feature films. 
Her directing work is rooted in actor-centered storytelling, collaboration, and a deep love of the theatrical process.
At the Lyceum, she recently made her directing debut with Robert Harling’s Steel Magnolias.

As an educator, Robyne has taught acting, scene study, movement, and professional development to artists of all ages.
She is passionate about creating spaces where actors can take risks, develop their craft, and discover their individual artistic voices.
As Artistic Director, she is committed to honoring the Lyceum’s extraordinary history while expanding opportunities for artists and audiences alike.
