Alan Knoll
Regional directing credits include The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis’ Imaginary Theatre Company, The Nebraska Rep, The Old Creamery Theatre Company, Ozark Actors’ Theatre, Dramatic License Productions, Insight Theatre, and Prism Theatre Company. After almost two decades of performing on the Lyceum stage, Alan is honored to make his Arrow Rock directorial debut with Laughter on the 23rd Floor. Having recently helmed both Brighton Beach Memoirs and Broadway Bound for the New Jewish Theatre in St. Louis, he’s thrilled to further examine the life of Neil Simon, a true icon whose works captured the zeitgeist of American middle-class life for much of the 20th century. He hopes you enjoy this peek behind the scenes of a writers’ room during the Golden Age of Television!
