Asunta Fleming

Former Disney entertainer is equally at home performing on stage, film, TV and soaps, working with “greats” Roberta Peters, George Chakiris, Julie Harris, Burt Reynolds, Kay Cole and Charles Nelson Reilly. As a cabaret headliner, Asunta has opened in concerts for Lorna Luft and Roslyn Kind. Stage roles include the leads as Kate in “Kiss Me Kate,” Amalia in “She Loves Me,” Grushinskaya in “Grand Hotel,” Agnes in “I Do, I Do,” and Donna Sheridan in “Mamma Mia.” This past year, Asunta was very busy performing in seven concerts in Nashville and performed in a new musical at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. She has also performed on feature film scores including the movie “Possessed” starring Christopher Plummer and Timothy Dalton, and has lent her “character” voice in the animated film “Lion of Judah” with Mike Madsen. She was on the airwaves hosting a radio talk show “Girl Talk” and now has a podcast “Dreamgirls.” For many years, Asunta was the host on the Travel Channel. Asunta is the owner of The Voice Studio LA/Nashville, providing vocal technique for recording artists and record labels. Asunta loves dogs. When not performing, Asunta works hard to rescue dogs and has her own Voice 4 Paws organization that hosts “Puppy Love” concerts to support the Humane Society and their dog adoption efforts. Asunta sits on the board of the Pet Rescue Foundation of America. Asunta is also a board member of the SAG/AFTRA local in Nashville and is a member of Actors Equity.
