Beth Leonard
What an incredible honor it is for Beth to, once again, be part of this amazing company of theatre artists! Past Lyceum performances include Auntie ‘Em in The Wizard of Oz, Yente in Fiddler on the Roof, Mother Theresa in Sister Act, and Princess Dragomiroff in Murder on the Orient Express. Beth is no stranger to mid-Missouri, since she served as Dean of the School of Performing Arts and Chair of Theatre/Music/Dance at Stephens College in Columbia. She has just returned from the beautiful PNW town of Bellingham, WA, as Chair of Theatre and Dance at Western Washington University, where along with administrative duties, she had the opportunity to direct, create a professional summer company, and play Amanda in The Glass Menagerie and Hannah in The Spitfire Grill, both directed by retired Stephens College faculty Lamby Hedge. However, throughout a wonderful career in both academic and professional theatre, for Beth, there is no place that can truly match the excellence of the Lyceum Theatre right here in Arrow Rock. It is a dream to return, and grateful thanks to Quin for this gift.
