Brett Kristofferson

Brett Kristofferson is happily returning to the Lyceum Theatre after music directing last season’s The Little Mermaid. He has worked as an artist and educator for nearly two decades, both in New York City and Missouri. Currently he is adjunct faculty and music director at Lindenwood University, as well as Music Associate at St. John’s United Church of Christ in St. Charles, MO. An award recognized composer and lyricist, his musicals, Closer Than You Think and This Very Moment, had their New York premieres in 2015 and 2016 respectively. This Very Moment was subsequently staged by Stomping Ground Theatre Company in St. Louis. A revue of his work, So Near, So Far, was filmed and streamed as part of Mizzou’s Summer Repertory 2020 season.
