Arrow Rock, MO, January 6, 2017 — Local auditions for our 2017 season will be held at the Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre Saturday, Feb. 25, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  If necessary, additional audition dates and times will be added. These auditions are by appointment only. Appointments can be made by emailing a picture and resume to arrowrockcasting@lyceumtheatre.org.  Please specify if there is a time of day that is best for you.  Also, please indicate if there are specific roles for which you would like to be considered.  Please include in the subject line of your email ARROW ROCK CASTING. No phone calls, please. A Lyceum representative will be in touch the second week of February confirming your time slot. If you are unable to attend the audition, you may email a video to arrowrockcasting@lyceumtheatre.org.

Those auditioning must prepare 16 bars of two contrasting songs and one brief monologue. An accompanist will be provided. Children under the age of 10 may audition with 16 bars of one song and no monologue. Anyone who is not a singer may perform a monologue only.  The Lyceum is seeking equity and non-equity actors of all ages and ethnicities.  There will not be a dance call at the Arrow Rock auditions.

Along with the local auditions, the Lyceum will participate in the MidWest Theatre Auditions in St. Louis Feb. 17-19.

Rehearsals for the first production of the Lyceum’s 57th Season, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, will begin Tuesday, May 23. The season concludes with the final performance of A CHRISTMAS CAROL on December 23.
