Charlie Bucket, an imaginative boy from a poor family; gluttonous Augustus Gloop; spoiled Veruca Salt; chewing gum celebrity Violet Beauregarde; and over-amped computer hacker Mike Teavee soon learn that no one leaves the same way they arrived.
