Richard E. Harris, Jr.
Richard is a seasoned actor, musician, and sound designer with a rich career spanning television, film, and theatre. Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, he’s now based in Columbia, Missouri, where he continues his artistic journey. Known for his storytelling and passion for African American history, Richard is the grandson of Dr. Opal Lee, famously recognized as “The Grandmother of Juneteenth.” Her legacy inspires him, as he actively works to preserve cultural heritage and bring compelling stories to life, whether on stage, in music, or through his ongoing efforts as a playwright and community advocate.
